Useful piece of advice for the day..

If you are going to leave your 'barn shoes' out on the porch overnight........

Just make sure you take a quick peek inside before you put them on.
Just sayin'.

Yes, they do seem to like hiding in those shoes left on the porch.
I'm always afraid of spiders being inside, and beat the heck out of them before wearing :)
He's a cute fella.

I thought it was a grasshopper in the first photo, but no, a cute little frog! Glad you looked. :-)

You live on the prairie, what on earth are frogs doing there? lol

Oh, Jo, I have found those too....I much prefer the frogs!

Kelly, it's a little Leopard Frog http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopard_frog. Strangely, I find them out in the middle of the pasture all the time.

Our cats leave play mice in our shoes, but then again, sometimes they are not play mice, just dead!! LOL. Always look before slipping feet inside!

Such a cute little visitor. Glad he didn't get squished.

LOL cute. Your little frog is much better than the large stag beetle I found in my sneaker as a child! Yuck.

And..always look in your feed bag before grabbing the scoop - I once stuck my hand in and instead of the scoop grabbed a mouse!

OMG, you're so right. I always check my boots. I'm scared a snake might crawl down in there and be at the toe of the boot or something. And the feed barrel, too. I always take a peak before sticking my scoop in there. That was just the cutest little frog. Debi
