He is a very nice little rammy, and I am not sure if you can tell by the photo, but he has the craziest tightly crimped fleece. That just leaves Guinivere left to lamb, and she is certain to have a single.
All of the lambs are growing like crazy! Little gully girl has a hard life...
I am using names related to astronomy/astronomers this year...this little girl might need to be called Eclipse since both sides of her face are completely different!
Below is Daisy's ram lamb. I love his goatee. And his twin sister...
They both have very nice fleece (so far), this is from the bum area, I had to stretch it out to photograph it because it is crimped up so tight! You should see the neck!
Below is one of Lilly's lambs. Very cute, a bit of a longer tail, her fleece is very soft and single coated but not especially crimpy.
This little guy below is already spoken for. He is Fallon's ag/grey ram lamb. I let his new owners think of a name for him-sticking with the astronomy theme-and one of their choices was 'Titan'....I think it is a perfect name and will be very fitting when he is a big strapping ram with magnificent horns, but....being that he is smaller than my roosters and my barn cats right now, we kind of chuckle at the irony.
Willow's rammy lambie.
And now for some gratuitous cute lambie faces....
Awwwwwwww! Don't you just want one??

Yes, I do! That certainly works. Do those babes know how to pose or what?
*sigh* Yes, I want one...or five...lol. I need some more of my own! Stupid late lambing...
Awww, they certainly have the cute and cuddly thing going on! I know what you mean about getting a black ram lamb, I'd have been a bit disappointed too... but feeling a bit guilty for feeling disappointed if you know what I mean. Have heart though, I've got 7 rams and only 3 ewes. My most stunning, and only flecket ewe lamb was the one taken. Don't you just love keeping livestock!
VERY CUTE!!!!!!!!
Great pictures!!
aw--it's ok to be disappointed...a teeny weeny bit...but think of all the beautiful surprise spotted babies he'll throw when he's a daddy with his genetic background. they are all so adorable--how fun to never know what you are going to get.
That is what I love about the Shetlands....you just never know what you're going to get! :)
You have such a nice variety of colors/markings on your lambs I'm sure a solid is bound to show up sometime...and he carries all that spotting/markings....if he turns into an exceptional ram he will be one that will be hard to give up!!!
Love the gratuitous lambie shots!!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and looking at all our kats!!
Your spotties are precious! That's our next marking we want more of.
I'll add you to my blog roll also.
Christine
Oh oh oh, I just want ALL of them! I will kidnap them, late at night, and squirrel them back to my farm, where they will play with Icelandics and I will take pictures and post them on my blog. Oh wait, then you will know it was me that took them. Darn.
How do you get your lambs to be so friendly?
awwww, yes I want one. They are sooo cute.
