okay, I would say "ugly" but what is ugly to me is beautiful to someone else but what is beautiful are all those apples! i think I was drooling just reading it:) I have a great recipe for cheese cake with cinammon apples on top..very yummy. Love the dog's ball! I did this once with a tennis ball...ran over it with the mower which shot it out, it hit the side of the house and came right back at me. Yep, my dogs laughed at me..whatever:)

You can request an ID on a bug at that site...you have to register, but I believe it's free. Might be worth it, it's deffinately an interesting bug :)

I have seen those creepy bugs here too, and I don't know what they are either! When you find out, let me know. They give me the willies!

I was guessing assasian beetle, but when I looked that up, the pictures that match your bug are called "Wheel Bug". Hmmm.... So many cool looking critters out there.

I'm pretty sure that's a rare "You better get your butt to a family reunion in Minnesota" bug. Be careful Corinne ~ I hear they can be nasty....

Yes, it's a Wheel Bug. They are really very interesting creatures. (Be careful of them as they do bite!)

Here's a wikipedia article about them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheel_bug

Oh, and don't kill it--they are pest eaters :)

if it was me it'd have been a 'bottom of shoe goo' bug.
